Windows 10: File Explorer file operations fail in Windows 11 version 22H2

File operations such as copy, paste, delete, move etc. often result in no apparent action in the destination unless Refresh is used in the destination folder. Sometimes the operation, when drag and drop is used, freeze the machine altogether. This is occurring in Windows 11 22H2 latest build, 22621.1555, on three different machines: MS Surface Pro 8, MS Surface Book 2, MS Surface Go 3.

Windows 11 Version 22H2 File Explorer Ribbon

Windows 11, version 22H2 has updated the file explorer ribbon. Before the update we were able to revert to the classic file explorer ribbon by using a register fix. But since the 22H2 update the fix has been disabled and we are stuck with the windows 11 file explorer ribbon. Is there a fix in the works to allow users to restore the classic file explorer ribbon? I find it much easier to work with the classic ribbon rather than the new “simplified” one.

After file operations, rename, delete, etc., the file manager fails to update itself. After each operation I must press F5 to update the file list in file manager. sfc - did not found any violations.
