Windows 10: File explorer freezes when I right or left click any file, some apps don't work, and...

I am using an Asus Tuf f15 laptop 16gbWhenever I right or left click any file in file explorer, the loading icon appears next to the cursor and doesn't go away, and the file explorer window freezes until I close it. I tried updating Windows 10, but it gives me this error message 0x80070643, I tried to fix it using the .Net frame repair tool, but it says "The tool is unable to resolve the installation issue on your computer" These are the logs it shows after:C:\Windows\windowsupdate.logC:\Windows\logs\cbs\cbs.logC:\Users\David\AppData\Local\Temp\FixDotNet.logC:\Users\David\AppData\Local\Temp\

File Explorer is Aligned Left Instead of Right

Hi,

I have just opened File Explorer in Windows 10 and everything has been aligned to the right instead of the left.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

mouse right click will not open my file explorer in taskbar

• What happens when you left clicking?
• When you say right click, do you actually mean left click?
• Which all troubleshooting steps have you already tried to resolve this issue?

Left clicking with mouse will open File explorer or any other programs. Whereas right click will give you context menu.

I suggest you to right-click on the File Explorer
on the task bar and select Unpin from Taskbar. Now in the search bar type
File Explorer and right click on it and select Pin it to Taskbar
and check if it helps.

  • On the left pane, choose About.
• Do you have a folder on your Desktop page? If so, can you still access it?
• Can you open File Explorer when accessing it through the Start Menu? File Explorer can be found inside the
  Windows System folder in the Start Menu.
• Does the issue also occur when opening File Explorer using the Run window? You can do this by following these steps:
  • Right-click the Windows logo (Start button), and then click Run.
  • In the Run text box, type explorer.exe.
