Windows 10: File explorer has some problems

File explorer is having some problems:- cant open files, when i double click on a file, it wont respond/ just show loading cursor- takes so long to do anything- often freezes and dont respond causing it to restartthe only thing i can do is using cmd to browse and open files right now

• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.

File Explorer not responding problem.

Try this steps because I think it's related with quick access in file explorer:

1. Open a new Explorer window.
2. Click View in the ribbon.
3. Click Options.
4. Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
5. Click OK.

Now it should hopefully work fine.
