Windows 10: File Explorer isnt working!

So recently I thought of using the app " Files " from the Microsoft store because my file explorer could use a bit of a renovation. I set Files as my default explorer and Then after a while of getting bored I decided to use file explorer again but this time, Any of my files or other apps weren't opening! It just kept on popping messages up like " explorer.exe not found " and other stuff.Heres some examples:This one pops up when I open my folder:I've searched everywhere including this website but couldn't find any fixes.... Please help!

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.

• Click the Start Menu.
• Right-click File Explorer.
• Choose Pin to taskbar.

File Explorer isnt working

Please try the following fix and see if it helps you:

Restart explorer.exe Process

Right-click on Task Manager and select Task Manager.

In the Task Manager window, locate Windows Explorer under Apps.

Right-click on the Windows Explorer process and select Restart.

Exit Task Manager.

Check File Explorer if it will show your files.
