Windows 10: File Explorer issue and re installing windows 11

Hi, my file explorer isn't working. I can't open anything. I've tried to do a windows update but it's saying I need to get rid of files to make more space. I can't open file explorer to do anything about it. I'd like to reinstall windows 11 but also don't want to lose anything. is there something I can do? Thanks

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue

are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer
