Windows 10: File Explorer Keeps Crashing Win10

This problem is very recent, but what seems to happen is that I can open file explorer, but then after about 30 second to a minute, if I try to open another file explorer window which I usually do a lot to transfer files from my PC to an external HDD, the system freezes for a second then the windows auto-close. This seemed to have started right after we got the latest Win10 .NET Framework update. I only say that because I rolled back my Windows Recovery to the day before I installed that update, and everything seemed fine. Then obviously my computer updated to it as normal and it seems to be

You can try the following steps:

1. Tap down the Windows button first to activate the search bar.
2. After that, in the search bar type control, and then click on the top-most search result, that is on Control Panel.
3. Next, in the search bar type file.
4. Now, from the search results click on File Explorer Options.
5. Then, click on the Clean button.
6. Lastly, click on Apply and then on OK.
