Windows 10: File Explorer keeps opening every few minutes (E key is not stuck)

I have noticed for the last few days something odd that has never happened before to me. The File Explorer keeps coming up. Currently as I type this 4 instances of File Explorer are up. I had only seen this before after a power outage but once one instance. How can I fix this? It is slightly annoying.

I try all three suggestion but unfortunately the problem remain.

It is look the explorer stuck when I right clicking on file letter or try to past file.

Some details on the steps:

Step 1: When the Task manager is open no Window Explorer task exist. Clicking on File Explorer under Start menu window, bring Window Explorer task. Than I End the task using task manager and reopen the task by Run New Task in the task manger. The Window
Explorer task is appeared in the Task manger and on the screen window. Right clicking on the disk letter the Explorer was stuck again.

Step 2: I run the checkdisk on disk C (contains the Window) without /f and get report all is OK

Step 3: I run the Memory diagnostic. After long waiting time a report OK is received.

Details Pane in not visible in File explorer window

I understand that you are not getting the details of the file in File Explorer. We will help you.

I suggest you to refer the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + E keys, opens the File explorer.
• Click on the View tab in File ribbon.
• Click on the Details Pane. Check if the details are appearing in File explorer after selecting any files.

How to make Windows-E key open a different file explorer ?

I find the File Explorer to be outdated and much prefer using XYplorer or Total Commander because the tabbed display is so much more useful!

How do I remap the Windows-E key combination to open a different file explorer, not the default Windows file explorer ?

Note: I do not want to create a new key combination. I like Windows-E because it's burnt into my head and it's impossible to change now.
