    File Explorer looks different recently and it is more cumbersome to find a file.


    I have Windows 11 Home, version 22H2. File Explorer looks different recently. For example, to find a document file, I used to go to This PC>Documents and then look for whatever folder to which I saved the document. Now, I have to go to This PC>AcerC:>Users>Gunar>OneDrive>Documents. I have had OneDrive for over a year so that is not something I added recently. I don't know why my File Explorer changed its look or how to get the original look back. I have tried using the View tool and the Options tool to change various settings but it still looks different.     you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

    or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

    to prevent it from autopopulating try making the reg key
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion
    \Applets\Paint\Recent File List read only
