Windows 10: File Explorer/Photos: How to move favorite photos into a different folder in File Explorer

I am going through thousands of photos in File Explorer and would love to be able to quickly mark my favorite photos so I can move them into a different folder. When I click on a photo to view it, it takes me into Photos, where I can mark a photo as a favorite. I can then find the Favorites album. What I can't figure out is how to select those photos and move them into a different folder. I would appreciate any suggestions! Thanks.

How to unhide a single files like photos???

Hi ppl hope everthings good there my external HDD get an infection in my friends computer and i have a lot of pics there and i want to ask you guys how to a unhidde a single file like a photo to better explain the virus converted all my folders to shortcuts but i was able to restore them but the single files like photos i can only see them if i put the explorer to show hidden files and folder and the hidden check box in the photos are gray does anyone know how to fix it???

Favorites in Photos

I found the Favorites albums in Photos. However the photo I just flagged as a "Favorite" is not there. I double-checked the photo in File Explorer and "favorite" heart is still indicated, but it's not in the Favorites album. Is your explanation describing
the following: (1) double-click a photo from File Explorer; (2) click the heart (Favorite); (3) then the photo is supposed to appear in Favorites folder of the Photos app?

Maybe I don't understand what the Photos app is. Double-clicking a photo from File Explorer opens the photo: is that in the Photos app? Do I have to somehow associate
all the photos files in File Explorer with the Photos app in order to effectively use the "Favorite" flag?

 

Moving photo folders in File Explorer

Do you mean form the Photos App to the Photos Gallery App?

Those applications do not store photos in them, they are just views of folders, or even the same folder on your PC

Open File Explorer, on the left, click Pictures

All the photos on your PC, should be found in that folder, unless you have specifically set another location . . .

And both the Photos App and Photo Gallery, should look at that folder by default. Are you seeing differences between the pictures shown in both applications?
