    i had an issue where windows hung up on shut down. file explorer wouldn't refresh after copy/past rename etc. Apps crashed when trying to open etc. i finally had enough and sent my desktop for repair, they did nothing. i know it had to do with files. something wasn't closing for shutdown, i removed onerous programs, disabled what i could from start up etc. then i went into the task manager to see what was running. scrolled down...waaay down to windows processes and there it was, two instances of windows explorer running. one was fine, the second was running full tilt. cpu and energy drainin
