    File Explorer: removing one drive instances


    I have 4 instances of Onedrive. 2 are my personal accounts and 2 are from a company I no longer work for and want to delete them from file explorer.i have delinked them and I have removed them from my C drive user folder - I really want to delete them from my computer file explorer - I have been on 'chat' with Microsoft for over 2 hours today and they have no clue.I have tried looking at the registry and I am losing confidence as I do want my 2 instances to remain visible.PLEASE HELP

    I understand your concern about multiple instances of hard drive on File Explorer. We will help you with this issue.

    Do provide us additional information to assist you better:

    • Have you made any changes to the operating system that might have resulted in this issue?
    • Are you referring to external or internal hard drive?

    I suggest you to run Microsoft Safety scanner and check if there are any threats found.

    Microsoft Safety Scanner

    Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner expires 10 days after being downloaded. During this 10 days, it will remove all the virus infected files and folders. I suggest you to create a backup of your data and then Install Microsoft
    Safety Scanner.

    Also, provide the screen shot of this issue for better assistance.

    On File Explorer left hand side list,how to remove hard drive in list?

    File Explorer: removing one drive instances [​IMG]


    How do I remove the hard drive "storage" line in this list on file explorer? It is not a quick access. I right click on it and it there's no option to remove it from the list.

    Cannot Remove File From File Explorers Recent Files List

    I'm using Windows 10 and have always been able to remove files from the file explorer's recent files list. The file is listed as FileProvider and it is located in the ThisPC/downloads directory. Any other file is readily deleted from the list by the usual
    procedure. This file is not. Any suggestions?
