Windows 10: File Explorer screen details difficult to see. Is there a Zoom screen option

As I grow older I find that it is more difficult to see the names of folders file names and details and menu names. In a browser I can increase the screen Zoom level in 10% increments so it's easier to see details. This may be possible in File Explorer but I can only see the selection of Icon sizes, That is no help in details view, or when I'm attaching files to emails.


I share the computer with my husband so I don't want to change everything on the computer to a bigger size.



I couldn't see a category for File Explorer so apologies for my selection. Feel free to change it.

Set Zoom options for Internet Explorer in Windows 10.

• Did you check if you can change Zoom options from Internet Explorer?
• What happens when you re-size Internet Explorer?

Change the Zoom settings by following the steps below and check if the issue is resolved.

• Open Internet Explorer and press Alt + X keys on keyboard.
• Hover your mouse over the Zoom options and select the percentage of zoom you want to set.
• Close the Internet Explorer, open it again and check if the changes are effective.

You can opt for Snap window option for operating on two different page, showing on one screen simultaneously, by opening the programs you want to work on, holding the top of the program window and snapping it to the one side of the monitor and on the other
side the other program.

File Explorer displays MP3 details, NOT File Details. How to switch ?




Here is a mp3 file with just Title (Concerto Gregoriano) and Composer in its metadata.
1. In file explorer, I created a new file on my desktop and copied the mp3 file to it.
As you can see, it is listed with date, size. The folder is a general format type, not music.
Please try that.

2. To the right, mp3tag, a free utility, shows the metadata in the file.
You might find it useful to get mp3tag.
3. Rt click, Properties, Details, shows the Title as part of the metadata. (Composer is off the screen).

I suggest you make sure your mp3's do indeed contain metadata.

(Sorry the Window titles are faint- they are background, but should be clearer)
