Windows 10: File Explorer Search Filtering

Hello All, I have a user as well as me when I do search in my File Explorer the Filtering while in a search. In my attached example I am searching my OneDrive for "JAN" and then wanting to filter it down to only shout Outlook Item, but when I press Outlook Item it reverts back to my OneDrive Whole. Attaching screenshots and a short mp4 or the issue, trying to help a customer as he has a lot of documents, he wants to make Windows Explorer filter better and if we are missing an option to turn on. I made a gif of the mp4 video and attached it.Any help with a setting change to resolve this is

Cortana search filter list

I have a lot of space for display content in Cortana search list, and 80% of it not used because Cortana sorting items by types.
How disable all filters and make visible all suggested content?

Thank you for the detailed response. To change the search result's view from content to list, we suggest following the steps below:

• Open the File Explorer and try to search for files.
• In the toolbar, open the View tab and click List
  to change the view.
• Once changed, close the File Explorer.
• Open the File Explorer again and try to search to see if the setting has been retained.

File Explorer Search Not Working


I am trying to search in File Explorer (Windows Explorer, My Computer) and it will not find anything. I can copy text from a name in the list and paste it in the search box and it still finds nothing. I have looked at the suggestions that have been posted and nothing I find that is relative to this works. Anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win 10 Pro on an I3 coustom desktop computer.
