Windows 10: File Explorer search sporadically does not respond after windows 8.1 to windows 10 upgrade

Hello,I have a very consistent but sporadic problem on my windows 10 upgrade where file explorer search will freeze up after entering search text in the search box followed by clicking the search arrow. Once it happens I have to reboot in order for it to work once more for a while until it eventually occurs again. My drivers were the latest that HP offers when I checked their drivers for my 2014 HP computer prior to upgrading to windows 10 which came with windows 8.1 originally installed. Restarting file explorer or ending file explorer in task manager does not clear up the problem. Any help w

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

Windows Explorer Replacement?

I don't use Internet Explorer, I meant the thing where you can look at files etc. Hotkey Windows+E. Maybe it's the wrong name in english though. *Stick Out Tongue
