Windows 10: File Explorer-Share

Trying to share a set of files. When I hit the Share key I get "THIS APP CAN'T SHARE NOW" I've used this app before, in fact only less than an hour before with no problem. Aanay ideas ?

Win 10 file explorer shared albums

• Are you trying to share the picture on OneDrive?
• What is the exact location of the photograph file in file explorer?
• What exactly you want to know about file explorer share feature?

I would appreciate if you can provide us the screenshot
of the context menu to help you better.

Try this step:

Generally when you right click on the picture you will see share with.
Add to shared album > new shared album/list of existing album name

Windows 10 - Homegroup - Cannot share Folders or files + Error 0x80004005 (renaming of folders)

Thanks for getting back, Sanjiv. It seems that the users were not configured to have full control of those folders you want to share. We suggest going into the Advanced settings of your File Explorer and adjust the permissions. Follow these steps:

• Open File Explorer.
• Locate the folder you want to have full access.
• Right-click it and select Properties.
• Click the Security tab.
• Click Edit to change the permissions.

Once done, try sharing the folders again.
