  1. file folder-Screen shots

Awhile back I took some screen shots using windows PrtSc, They saved into: this pc>pictures>screen shots, I found them there several times. Then this afternoon I go to find them and cannot, only 16 of my screen shots are in this folder. I did not delete the majority of pictures. Where can I find them?I do not have OneDrive set up on my PC, which was a suggestion I saw on similar questions.

    :)

  3. Screen Shot in Windows 10

    Hi Jeremy,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.

To guide you in the right direction, I need more information from the computer by answering the following questions:

    • What exactly are you referring to?
    • Are you facing any kind of issues with Windows?
If you want to take a screen shot and save it as picture, I suggest you to check with the below steps.

To take a screen shot and save it as a picture

    • Click the window you want to capture. Press Alt+Print Screen by holding down the Alt key and then pressing the Print Screen key. The Print Screen key is near the upper-right corner of your keyboard. (Depending on the type of keyboard you have, the exact
key names on your keyboard may vary slightly.)
Note: You can take a screen shot of your entire desktop rather than just a single window by pressing the Print Screen key without holding down the Alt key.

    • Click Start, click Accessories, and then click
      Paint.

    • In the Paint window, click Edit, and then click
      Paste.

    • When the image appears in the Paint window, click File, and then click
      Save As.

    • In the Save As dialog box, in the File name box, type a name for the screen shot, and then click
      Save.

Please do get back to us with the answers to assist you better with issue you are facing.

Is This Malware? (Unauthorized Screen Shot Saved to Feedback Hub Folder)

    Hello,

This morning, I noticed an unknown PNG file in my "recent files" list on my lap top (I have an HP Spectre running windows 10). The file was titled "Capture0" and it had been saved to the "AppData" folder for the Window's 10 Feedback Hub app. The exact file
    location was:

    C:\Users\[my username]\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.WindowsFeedbackHub_[extended file name gibberish]

This makes me nervous for several reasons.

First, because it was a screen shot of a tab in a specific excel file, which listed all of my usernames and passwords (yes, I know this is not the brightest way to track my passwords).

Second, because I can't seem to find any evidence that I accidentally took the screen shot myself (e.g. I can find no preset quick key configuration that would automatically save a screen shot to the folder listed above).

Third, because I had neither accessed nor used the Feedback Hub app prior to seeing this file.

Finally, because I had neither used quick keys for generating and saving screen shots, nor altered any quick key presets in windows before.

That being said, I realize I may have somehow managed to accidentally do this myself. This is the only unknown file (let alone screen shot) that I have seen pop up in my laptop's "recent files" list.

Also, the screen shot did include what appears to be an overlay of some quick key commands for excel, as circled (in red) in the below image (I removed the image of the content of the excel window prior to posting here):

Would anyone be able to tell me if I'm freaking out over nothing here? To your knowledge, is there some way I may have accidentally fat-fingured a quick key that would both generate a screen shot and save it to a "Feedback Hub" app folder?
