Windows 10: File History Schedule

Discus and support File History Schedule in Windows 10 Performance & Maintenance to solve the problem; Does anyone know if it's possible to invoke the file history backup procedure for a certain time?     File History Schedule


    Does anyone know if it's possible to invoke the file history backup procedure for a certain time? I'd like to be able to configure it to backup over night only (i.e. at 2am) - but I can't find a way to be able to set it to certain time.

    File History - Does not turn off

    I have turned OFF File History. When I check Task Schedule history dates, it shows the listings of having backed up File History. Why is that? I use Windows 10

    I do have File History as a scheduled event, but the set scheduled times do not coincide with the history dates. Moreover, by turning OFF File History it would seem the schedule setting should not work.

    Schedule time for File History backups?

    I have 'File History' scheduled for 'Daily'. Please elaborate on when this scheduled 'Daily' File History backup runs. Can I control the schedule time? Also, I normally keep my File History backup drive disconnected. Does File History resume when I
    plug the drive back in. If not, why not?

    File History Schedule

    A shame there is no answer to this question. Clearly the File History task(s) have a timer for running so it's too bad there isn't a TOD option as well as the How Often. I guess it's just following Apple's Time Machine capabilities.

    I too would like to use the File History on a TOD basis.
