File Manager is showing two system files.

I don't understand why my desktop displays two system files. I assigned the system to drive "C" and when I open file manager it shows that the system is also on drive "F" which is not something that had set up. This has not caused a problem but I would like to understand why it's this way.

    System Paging File Help

You don't need a page file on C:, but there might be good reasons for having one that is static - please explain what these are.

I've set up my system with no paging file on c: and system managed file on other drive(s) and it works fine. Plus, if you run up against your pagefile's current limit, having it set to system managed with reduce the chance of a freeze/bsod/etc.

If you set the page file as static and you run out of virtual memory, you have problems. However having too big a page file reduces performance. I'm more concerned with stability so I always go system managed.

Generating a .txt based file list in Windows 7

I want to be able to generate a .txt file that lists all the files and folders in a specific folder on my PC, but don't know the name of any programs that do that. Searched on google a bit and came up with this guide, but it's for XP and I can't seem to find some of the folder options to modify the .bat file. Any suggestions? Thanks

    http://www.theeldergeek.com/file_list_generator.htm

EDIT: The .bat file will do what I want if it is in the folder I want to do it in, but the option I want to add is having the right click option that it shows.
