Windows 10: File Manager: were is it now?

Discus and support File Manager: were is it now? in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I can't locate File Manager anymore.     File Manager: were is it now?


    I can't locate File Manager anymore. After the update week of 9-17-2018 had to do a reinstall on Windows 10. Originally was W7 and did the W10 update last year. Since the new install all kinds of things are different or gone. Is this another preW10 legacy setting that was very useful that went away like Windows Photo Viewer?

    There are no more files and ASUS Data Security Manager


    I've been having the same issues trying to save files.

    I followed all of the steps but ASUS Data Security Manager keeps reappearing. How do I really get it to delete? I've done the uninstall four times and it just pops back in the list.

    I have the ADSMSrc.exe running but the problem its fixed for me too.

    This will do it for you

    Step 1: Download this zip file (contains dmDskmgr-vd.mmc)

    dmDskmgr-vd.zip
    Step 2: Double click dmDskmgr-vd.zip to open the compressed folder
    Double click dmDskmgr-vd.mmc to launch the custom Disk Management console

    Press Alt+PrtScn to grab a snapshot of just the Disk Management window
    Open Paint and Ctrl+V to paste it, then save the image
    Attach the image to a new post.
