  1. File opening problem. Showing " Invalid value for registry "

When I am trying to open a pictures/photos from my laptop, I can't open it. Because it's showing a message box. It's show two lines. Upper line is file location which file I want to open & lower line is a message . The message is " Invalid value for registry" . What can I do now? I can see that file any file in OneDrive online, I also can open or edit all photos using adobe photoshop or paint tool. My windows is updated. What can I do now for fixing this problem?

    "invalid value for the registry"

After a recent windows update when trying to open pictures i get the error message "invalid value for the registry". I have further details for this problem. First when i changed the app from "twinui" -- the "recommended" app for windows 10 to the old
"windows photo viewer" (through the file manager) -- all the pictures opened and no invalid registry nonsense. But it does mean something is wrong with TwinUI that Microsoft needs to address. The recommended app causes the registry problem. Not acceptable.
