Windows 10: File Path Locations completely messed up and cannot locate files in virtual environment

I run molecular dynamics simulations on my local machine, use a virtual Linux environment on my Windows PC. I store both the MD software source code and all of my simulation files on my Desktop. Since allowing OneDrive to sync my files, I am completely unable to locate my files or the source code within my bash shell because the file paths have changed ex. O.G. file path: /mnt/c/Users/LivMeyer/Desktop/Sweat_sensors_MD/MC_and_guests.....NEW file path: C:\Users\LivMeyer\Desktop\OneDrive - University of Cincinnati\Desktop\Sweat_sensors_MD. How to change location of MSI????.tmp file

Hi,

You may change the location of the .tmp file by following the steps provided below:

• Go to This PC.
• Right-click This PC, and then select Advanced System Setting.
• Click Environment Variables.
• Under system variable, double-click tmp and change the path for the file of your reference.

If the location still can't be changed, we suggest that you post it on our

Location of GPU-Z log files?

Just so people know ...

When you check the "Log to file" checkbox on the sensors tab, it will pop up a "Save As" dialog box and allow you to select the location and file name for the log.

i am receiving an Error when attempting to access a file that the file path cannot be located on c:drive. it was previously accessible.
