Windows 10: File path unavailable any more on address bar of folders after updates

After recent updates of windows 11 22H2, the address bar of each folder doesn't show the file path any more, but blank. How to solve it except uninstall the updates? Thanks.

You can change the Windows 11 File Explorer address bar to show the full file path by following these steps:

1. Open File Explorer.
   
2. Click on the three-dot menu icon located at the top right of the window.
   
3. Click on 'Options'.
   
4. In the 'Folder Options' window that appears, go to the 'View' tab.
   
5. In the 'Advanced settings' list, find and check the 'Display the full path in the title bar' option.
   
6. Click 'Apply', then 'OK'.

Disable File Explorer Address Bar Path History?

I tried looking online for you, but only found what was suggested/mentioned above. Yet, I found a quicker way to clear the history rather than going into Folder Options: Right-click on the Address Bar, and press this:

I tried the Show Full Path in the Address Bar for Special Folders - Winhelponline procedure [post #18 above] but have found it to be incomplete. I had to search through all that set of Registry Keys to find that there were two relevant ones for Downloads. Local Downloads - as shown in their .reg file and Downloads - not mentioned by WinHelpOnline and I had to change both to get the full path to appear in the File explorer, Quick access Address bar for my Desktop/Downloads entry. See the discussion at tutorial suggestions #606 and the next few posts - TenForums As Brink points out, the change does not affect all methods of getting to, for example, the Desktop.
