    I frequently use File Explorer. Until recently, Everytime i access to any files, It's File path appears in the run dialog. I know how to delete them, but i don't want to do it, so how to fix that?the video is https://d.kuku.lu/nfsfftfmaI tried sfc /scannow, dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth command, and deleting explorer history, but none of them works.The OS version is Windows 11 64bit 23H2 Build 22631.5039

  2. Disable File Explorer Address Bar Path History?

    Hello, After entering a file path manually in File Explorer, the entry is kept in the dropdown list of the address bar until I go to View > Options > Clear File Explorer History. I'd like Windows to never store these paths, if possible. I have successfully disabled autocomplete via the registry using the following guide, but it doesn't prevent the history of file paths to be stored: Turn On or Off Inline AutoComplete in File Explorer and Run Dialog I've searched and searched but can't find a solution to this, yet. Hopefully someone has something to suggest that I haven't tried. I know it's possible, since I believe I had it working on my last Win10 machine, but I'm not sure how I did it. Thanks in advance!

  3. File history on USB security user access

    Hi,

    To isolate this concern, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Open File History folder.
    • Select all the files that you don't want to be accessed.
    • Right-click on the highlighted files and choose Properties.
    • Go to Security tab.
    • Click on Advanced.
    • Select all the user account that you don't want to have access on your File History folder.
    • Click on Disable inheritance.
    • Lastly, click on OK.
