Windows 10: File Picker UI host keeps crashing ''Save As''?

    File Picker UI host keeps crashing ''Save As''?


    I use the Snipping Tool / Fireshot another screenshot tool a lot. I've been unable to save anything I screenshot using these two tools, because the ''Save As'' screen keeps crashing. When I try to close the Save As window, it tells me that the ''File Picker UI host'' is not responding. So I'm assuming that is what's crashing my ''Save As'' window. What do?

    file picker ui host

    whenever i try to save a file or post it somewhere, the window for that just freezes. It's called the File Picker UI Host in Task Manager.

    File picker UI HOst is not responding error code

    I use outlook and drop box and can't attach or upload a simple word file.

    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
