    I'm trying to set up a small/simple/free file server for our small office. currently only on two PCs, mine PC-A and a spare PC-B.Both computers have the same advanced network sharing settings. Both computers have the following services set to automatic:- Computer Browser- Function Discovery Provider Host- Function Discovery Resource Publication- SSDP Discovery- UPNP Device HostBoth computers have all 3 SMB1.0 Windows features enabled.I have successfully shared a folder from PC-A to PC-B, however due to our specific use case, the folder needs to be hosted from PC-B. PC-B is not visible in t

    How to selectively share files via network on different PCs in v1803?

    I am having exactly the same problem as Kabigon described. My two computers show up under "Network" in File Explorer. When I click on the other computer it lists the Users (if they have at least one file shared with "Everyone"). But I cannot share a file with a single user. If anyone has any other suggestions I would appreciate the info.
    Brink, if no one comes up with a Windows 10 network solution I may end up with a NAS.

    • Have you made any changes on your PC?
    • Did you perform any Windows update recently?
    • Are you connected to Domain network?

    I suggest you to try the below steps and check if that helps.
