Windows 10: file sharing issue on Windows 11

I have a Windows 11 desktop computer set up with several shared folders. The computer is accessed using a Local account. I am trying to access the shared folders from two different computers - one works and the other does not. I have spent hours trying to find out what the difference is between the two computers but without success.SurfacePro with Windows 11 - able to access the shared foldersLaptop with Windows 11 - unable to access shared foldersI access both SPro and Laptop using the same Microsoft account. Windows 10 Sharing Issue

Hi Ennycloe,

There are several reasons why does other computers are unable to access your file from Windows 10. To make sure where this issue is coming from, we suggest that you run the built-in HomeGroup troubleshooter. Kindly follow the steps below:

• Type troubleshooting on the Windows search box.
• Click on View all which is located on the left pane.
• Choose Home group and then Shared Folders.
• Follow the on screen steps.

Let us know the results from the troubleshooter.

• Did you perform any Windows update recently?
