    FILE SHARING - SCANNER ISSUE


    I'm posting this issue with my new printer on this board in hopes that the issues described below are related to Windows settings. I spoke with Canon tech support for 2 hours but the issues couldn’t be resolved. As is typical, the rep said I had to contact Microsoft.I have set up a Canon MF445 on a WiFi network. All printing functions work. The printer is accessible to two computers and 2 iPads. No network issues printing.Scanning has been troublesome. I have turned off the firewall for the private network, implemented SMB, and implemented file sharing where I could. I loaded and reloaded the
