Windows 10: File system error -2144926975

So Recently i tried opening windows firewall, but it gave me an error which is

File system error -2144926975 and all the icons from the start menu disappeared

And iam on Windows 10


i've tried EVERYTHING to fix it but i couldn't find any solution


Is there a way to fix it?

I'm I recently downloaded a zip file from Microsoft. Sysinternals suite.zip. I unzipped it to its own directory in the download folder, now when I try to access it I get a runtimebroker.exe error with the following file system error (-2144926975).
I'm thinking it *maybe* a permissions problem. Permissions have been a nightmare for a few applications and services especially DCOM....... UPDATE, I'm almost certain that it is a problem with Cortana. When searching for the zip file through Cortana, it will
not pull up the directory where the file is located, but if i go to the file using file explorer it all loads as it should.

So Aside from the games, it also happens when I type in user profiles in the search bar to pull up the settings menu for it. It immediately pulls up that error message I posted a screenshot for.

It was also doing this when I couldn't access the windows store, so I gave up after a while. Then when I was trying to update netflix, the store came up and when I was trying to update netflix, it would say that it had been updated, but when I start the netflix
app, it says that an update is required, gives an option to update, but then just closes netflix without doing anything.

As for the build version, I'm using 1607 (OS Build 14393.693)

- I have tried to roll back the drive using restore, but when I try to use it, I get the file system error -2144926975.

- I tried System File check several times and it reports no errors.

- (When dealing with the Windows store issue) I winreset.exe

- Multiple virus scans

- Error checking with check disk utility and it says that there was no errors found.

• Aside from installing games, have you made any recent changes to the settings or applied an update?
• What build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried using the admin prompt?
