Windows 10: File System Error -2147219196, won't open any photos

Greetings! Just returned from a few days off the computer, and found that none of my photos will open. Receive a File System Error -2147219196 box. Any advice on how to fix this is appreciated!!

File System Error (-2147219196) - Can't open photos and calculator.

I can't open any of my photos nor can I open my calculator. The message I receive is "File System Error (-2147219196)"

You'll want to look at "Step 4: Uninstall Photos, Remove Leftover Files and Reinstall".

(when you're at the psexec part, you might receive an error about access being denied to some of the files in the photos app folder (happened to me), just ignore them and continue untill the end of STEP
4).

When i first removed and reinstalled the photos app, it downloaded less than 100mb of data, and installed it.

With the steps, described in the above link, it downloaded over 300mb of data!

After install, the photos app is (for now) behaving as normal.

I'll keep you informed, should the problem return!

I just started getting this error File System Error (-2147219196). when trying to open photos?

I've tried restarting and resetting the windows photo app but still isn't working.

How do I fix?
