Windows 10: File system error -214721995: cannot open any Microsoft apps store, photos

Hello all,I have run into a problem when trying to open any Microsoft applications including Photos, Store, and Feedback Hub. I have tried the wsreset.exe command in the "Run" prompt, but this does not work. After the 10 seconds or so, a popup saying "ms-windows-storeurgeCaches File System error -2147219195." shows up. I have tried resetting the apps in their respective setting menu. My Windows version is below:Edition Windows 10 Home Version 21H1 Installed on ‎3/‎15/‎2021 OS build 19043.1110 Experience Windows Feature Experience Pack 120.2212.3530.0 Please let me know if there is anything

Unable to open store and photos | error file system error (-2147416359) while opening photos

To assist you better help us with the below information.

• What is the make and model of the computer?
• Have you installed all the pending updates on your system?
• Which Windows 10 build is installed on the computer?
• Which app are you using to open the photos app?
• Is the issue specific to a photo or all the photos?
• Are you able to open other pre-installed apps on your computer?

As an initial steps, check time date and region settings of your computer are accurately set. Turn off Automatic and manually set the Date and Time and install the pending updates on the system.

If the issue still persists follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store apps troubleshooter from the below Microsoft Help Article and check if it helps.

Method 2: Disable or uninstall any third party Antivirus software and check if it helps.Once you have disabled it try Opening the store again. See if it helps.

NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you
should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. It scans the integrity of all protected operating system files and replaces incorrect, corrupted, changed, or

Error with Microsoft Photos app with AppStore on Windows 10 PC

-What is the exact and complete error message/code do you get when try to access Store and Photo app?

This issue might be due to corrupted system files.

Step 1: Run SFC scan.

System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files.

Follow the below steps:

• 
  Right click on the Start button, click on
  Command Prompt (Admin).
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
  Enter.
  
• 
  After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.
  

Step 2: To check if there is any problem with the app, I suggest you to run Windows Store App troubleshooter.

Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter, troubleshoots problems that may prevent Windows Store Apps from working correctly.

Follow the below steps:

  Type troubleshooting in the search bar on the Taskbar.

Cannot reinstall Microsoft Photos App from Store

Microsoft Photos will not install.

Photos would not call Maps from a photo file information. I reset Photos using Advanced Settings. The Photos App now shows on the Programmes and Apps list Start menu, but is not in the Apps list in the Settings list Apps&Features so it will not run.

When I try to reinstall the Photos app from the Store I get the error message 0x80073D05.

I have tried all the usual repairs in Windows help to no avail.

Any suggestions please?
