    Hello,


    I'm having the following problem.


    I'm running Windows 10 version 1903. I've plugged in my external hard drive where I have previously ran FileHistory to backup my documents, and it's been a few years since I've ran backup. I turn back on FileHistory and select "Backup now." I get an error message that says I need to reselect my FileHistory drive, which I click on and then select the drive in the dialog. I get a message stating that previous FileHistory backups have been found but not on the drive, and asks whether I'd like to transfer them to the drive to have them all in one place. I select yes. Then, backup begins starting and stopping every few seconds, each time displaying the same error asking me to reselect the drive. I went into Event logs and see that this generates a continuous stream of Event 200 errors. I've taken the following steps to troubleshoot but nothing has worked:


    I tried deleting the two config files in C/Users/.../AppData/Local/Windows/FileHistory/Configuration and let them repopulate on restart.


    I tried running the System File Checker scanning tool using the Windows PowerShell with Admin privileges.


    I've checked for system updates and installed the latest quality updates.


    Please help me with this problem.

    FileHistory Error 201 Windows 10 1903

    FileHistory is working fine... ...but if I add 'Documents' directory, FH stops with 201 error code.

    I've checked that all file paths are less than 200 chars length.

    Why the event registry can't display any useful information? Only 201 error code!

    Add one more troubleshooting step:

    I systematically excluded EVERY item included in the config1.xml file. It still Event ID 200s in about 3 or 4 seconds after clicking Run Now. It still does not give even the slightest hint of why it is "Unable to start a backup cycle for configuration C:\Users\Dick\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\FileHistory\Configuration\Config"

    W10 WMP won't continuously stream from my computer

    W10 WMP won't continuously stream from my computer to WDTV after playing the first video on a playlist. The loop (circular arrow icon) option is selected.

    From file manager and within WMP on my computer, I'm selecting multiple videos to stream to WDTV by selecting "Cast to Device" option.

    Any suggestions?
