    I have Windows 10, version 2004 ?! OS Build 19041.421

    I installed a preview version of Windows that had the capability of enabling the use of Docker, but I never followed through with the Docker install. This was a couple months ago.

    My File Manager has become troublesome in the last few weeks.

    1 If I do something that changes the contents of a file folder being viewed, the GUI does not show the update for that file folder until I go to another folder and come back. For example, if I delete a file, it will appear to remain. But if I go to the parent folder and back, the deleted file will correctly not show.

    2 Occasionally during a task, such as moving a collection of files to an external drive today's episode, the File Manager simply freezes. The only way to regain operations is to reboot the computer. Killing the File Manager via the Task Manager does not help as it leaves me with nothing but a blank screen.

    [EDIT: I think I noticed an event that can cause the freeze. I have a mapped drive that requires remote login which I usually do via the program Pulse Secure. If my mouse passes over this drive in the left-hand area tree of files of File Manager when it is not connected--e.g., while to an open/working mapped drive--that will initiate a freeze. If I close File Manager quickly enough, Windows at least sometimes will continue normally.]

    If the File Manager is corrupted, is there a way to reload it? Or is the FM more integral to the Windows 10 OS? I wouldn't mind going back to a less experimental version of Windows--I don't really need Docker. I can stick to using it on another computer I have that runs Ubuntu OS.

    Occasional freeze

    I've just purchased and installed Windows 10 Home 64bit. The system is occasionally freezing. Not completely though as I can still move the cursor around on the screen. After a couple of minutes, the system resumes back to normal. Sometimes the system stops
    to a bluescreen/reboot.

    The install is completely fresh and updated so I have no idea what's going on.

    Any help much appreciated!

    Windows Vista Wont Install Freezes?

    had the same problem, freezes and long installation including each step loading, in my case a bios update helped.
