Windows 10: Filenames are cut off in the middle on my new computer

Hi all.

In my previous computer file names used to show up in the correct way. In the new one it cuts off words in the middle and breaks them into a new line.

This only happens in Hebrew (so the reference pics might not help you because you can't understand the words, but I will attach them anyway)... 1st picture is the proper way of showing it up, 2nd picture is my new computer, where for some reason the same words are cut off in the middle.

Can someone explain how do I make windows show words only in their entirety? Thank you.

Computer keeps cutting off

I will be in the middle of something and all of a sudden my computer just cuts off. I am using windows 7.

 

How can I make a list of filenames in File Explorer via command prompt?

These are the steps I take in:

1. open the folder that I want to print the filenames of
2. In the location bar, typed "cmd"
3. At the command prompt, I typed "dir > vjoy.txt

The command prompt read Access is denied.
