    Filenaming Timeout Issue Windows Explorer


    When Renaming Files/Folders in WE there is a timout issue whereby the file string is deselected before enough time has elapsed to rename the file.This is incredibly tedious and time consuming as it often takes several attempts to rename a file in short bursts with a few characters each time.Having read a bit it appears several people have had this issue over the years and it affects multiple machines and in particular when renaming files on memory mapped Storage devices.It also seems to affect some quite competent people including some very experienced Dev's.It's very tin hat I know....but par

    Windows Explorer Replacement?

    are you running IE7? if not that wouold be my first suggestion,upgrade to ie7 that can fix some stability issues with windows explorer

    Since version 7 of the world`s most popular web browser - Microsoft Internet Explorer was silently renamed to Windows Internet Explorer.Such a step from Microsoft is not a surprise since Internet Explorer is part of the Windows operation system for a long time.Obviously Microsoft corp. wants to state that Internet Explorer is already considered as a part of Windows and not as an external browser (remember the IE and WMP law issues last year!?).
