Windows 10: Files being added in File Explore by Microsoft

HelloThese are files that are taking up space in my disk amd have been downloaded by Microsoft I don't know what they are for and they are hundreds of them and continuing . How to stop this and is it ok to delete them? Thanks

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

I have added the file count column to my folder in File Explorer. However, the actual file count is not displaying.

"This file can't be previewed" problem in explorer

• After deleting the files kindly try and see if there's a thumbnail preview of your files.
