Windows 10: Files Downloading with the Wrong Extension

Whenever I download .zip files, they get saved as .bbz that is the extension that goes with the BrailleBlaster program I use for Braille transcription. It's not a huge issue because I can just change the extension in the downloads folder, and it works fine, but it's annoying to have to do every time and confusing because I don't know why it's doing this.I don't remember doing anything that might cause the issue and it's been happening for at least a month but, as I've had BrailleBlaster for a while but don't download things often, I'm not completely certain whether it's been happening since

maybe list the specific file you are trying to download. I also just grabbed a download with no issues, and good speed.

To change the file extension when saving a document in Word 2013, you may follow the steps below:

• Click on File; then, select Options from the list.
• In the Word Options window, choose Save.
• Under Save files in this format, select *.doc from the list.
• Hit OK button to confirm and save the changes.

Unable to download Edge extensions via MS store
