Windows 10: Files getting automatically copied to System32

Hi.... weird behavior.... certain files and folders are automatically being copied to the System32 directory. These are not system files but different files to do with my work....docx files, graphics files and others. The weird thing is....I delete these files from the System32 directory....and next time I reboot or maybe after a while , they are back in the Sysstem32 folder. I have no backup software running or anything else that would explain this....and I haven't found anyone with the same issue online.I am running Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.19042 on an HP Zbook G6...if that's relevant

okay ive done the same thing as you but i cant put the file back into the folder

• Copy nvlddmkm.sys in C:\Windows\System32\DriverStore\nv_dispi.inf_amd64_5518e59e8d3b48f4\ to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ and replace the existing one.

You can't copy a folder, thats why it generates an exception (you are trying to copy a folder using a copy file function).
You probably need to list all the files inside that folder and copy one by one
