    Hello Everyone.Greetings.I have installed windows 7 on existing windows and some how some of files are got encrypted and the file names are showing in green color. I have tried to take ownership of the files by using administrator accounts, Default administrator. The ownership is getting transferred but not able to open the files, I have tried to uncheck the encryption check box from file properties but not able to do it, it shows some attributed permission error.I searched alot about this and found some people telling that if you have windows.old folder or NTUSER.dat file then you can easily

    My suggestion to you is to look into what kind of encryption the program used, and look for a way to break that type of encryption. Sorry I can't say a specific program for sure.
