Windows 10: files not showing

Discus and support files not showing in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; hello so i have a problem. when a third party app is in windows explore some files dont show up but when i go in windows expolre it does show up ....     so i have a problem.

    when a third party app is in windows explore some files dont show up but when i go in windows expolre it does show up .

    steam games won't show up in program files(x86)

    Hi,

    We suggest that you check if the folder is hidden by following these steps:

    • In the search box on the taskbar, type folder, and then select
      Show hidden files and folders from the search results.
    • Under Advanced settings, select Show hidden files, folders, and drives, and then select
      OK.
    Let us know how it goes.

    How do I DISassociate a file type in Windows 10?

    I inadvertently associated a .lst file to open using my Adobe reader. I have followed all the steps you suggested and deleted everything listed. It still shows that Adobe is the default app to use with the file. Any other suggestions?

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
