Windows 10: Files on USB cannot be seen

My backup files/folders cannot be seen on USB drive. After going through the routine to show hidden files and restarting they can be seen.

Next time USB drive is connected they do not show again.

I have gone through the process to show hidden files several times but continually need to do this as they seem to hide.


Any ideas what I need to do to fix this.

USB doesn't display MP4 file!

I have a 300kb mix of .png, .jpg, .pdf files on a 4Gb USB drive. I added a 2Gb MP4 movie but it doesn't display in the drive files. I used CCleaner to check the drive F files .. it only shows up as 2Gb of OTHER FILES, but not in the listed files.

Any (constructive) suggestions welcome. I can't remove it as it doesn't show in the file list.

 

USB PORTS NOT SEEN IN FILE EXPLORER

In WINDOWS 10 PRO, my USB ports were working/being recognized (with drive a drive letter) fine until I did a backup using Paragon Software from one external drive to another external drive. Now, neither of the two USB ports are being seen in Windows File
Explorer. However, they are seen at the lower right corner where I can "Eject" the drive (no drive letter) or drives (no drive letter), but they are NOT recognized when I plug them in.
