    Files Randomly Dumping to Desktop

I am having a really strange issue where files are randomly dumping to my desktop, cluttering it up with a ton of icons. I think it has to deal with the recycle bin could be wrong though?I'm not sure what to do anymore as it is really annoying to have to keep deleting a ton of icons from the desktop. I have even gone so far as to "disable" the recycle bin altogether and make all deletions automatically permanent. Yet, files that were supposedly permanently deleted will magically dump to the desktop every couple of weeks. Any help would be appreciated.

    :)

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

    • Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
    • Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
    • Click on Users, select your User name
    • Go to desktop folder
Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.
