Windows 10: Finally an imporant Flag is working perfectly since yesterday's update.

There are articles about this flag old enough. And finally is working. The advantages are extremely good without having to do anything, but if Web Design Devs work on that, too, we will be talking for huge advantages especially in reducing even more the resources needed to load a page.

Finally successful update kb 3194798 for .321 status


THIS IS THE FIX THAT WORKS FOR 99% OF THE PLAGUED USERS

FINALLY got it to work for me following the footsteps of others who have gone down this path:

• delete folder C:\Windows\System32\Tasks\Microsoft\XblGameSave
• delete registry key:HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Schedule\TaskCache\Tree\Microsoft \XblGameSave
• Re-run the update

Tried all the other methods that were suggested by others and they did not work for me.

 

Voice Recorder Flags Disappeared

I realize the problem you are facing with the voice recorder.

To assist you better, please answer the below:

  Are you using windows built-in voice recorder or any other 3rd party voice recorder application?
  
• 
  If you are using Build in Windows recorder, how did you put the flag?
  

If you are using built-in Windows recorder, there is no option to put a flag on recorded voice. Provide us the screenshot of recording interface with Flag.

Vista Pre-SP1 vs. Vista SP1

I've been Windows Updating for two straight days and I finally saw SP1. If you want to troubleshoot it, follow these steps:

• Show hidden updates
• Manually install any failed updates (google the KB_____ and install from the windows site)
• Make sure everything in Device Manager is good to go

I had to do step two for like 4 or 5 updates to be able to see SP1.

Any other benchmarks you guys want to see? I might try PCMark05 (I think it works on Vista).
