Windows 10: Find cntl-F 'box' jumps around..how to anchor fix/stop it

I have noticed mainly in using Brave as Chrome is so problematic and 'crash happy' of recent weeks, that when Cntl-F is selected which BTW Google has recently demoted in Chrome to a secondary menu, that the display find panel that appears, jumps around on occassion.Creating havoc by starting any bookmarked site behind it.The panel for no other apparent reason moves to the centre of the webpage for a couple of 'found items', and then moves back, to its normal spot. It will move again any irregular time going forward.This also is occuring in Firefox.Has anyone else found this, or a way to

HTML anchors don't work in Windows 10

In my blog posts I use HTML anchors to jump from one place to another in the same post, eg, in an interactive contents list. The jumps work fine in browsers on my
Android 8 phone, but not in browsers on my Windows 10 laptop.

I don't use CSS, just HTML. Eg, for the anchor:

《a name="intro"》《/a》

and for the link:

《a href="#intro"》Introduction《/a》

(Sorry, no HTML brackets on this phone keyboard!)

As it's the same in several browsers, Firefox, Chrome and Edge, would it be a Windows 10 issue?

I tried changing 'a name' to 'a id', but it still didn't work.

My blog platform is Wordpress.com. I've asked them - they suggested it's a Windows 10 issue.

 

Browser on Lumia 800 does not jump to named anchors

The browser on Lumia 800 does not jump to named anchors, is there a fix for this?



Take this link for example:



If I access the link on my PC or on other phones, I am taken to a specific post in the thread, about midway down the page.



If I access the link on my Lumia 800, I am taken to top of the page and I have to scroll down and guess which post it is!



This is so very frustrating, I can't jump directly to new posts in the forums I'm on. The forums use different software (phpBB, vBulletin, Vanilla) but they are all W3C compliant and made to work on a variety of platforms, so it's not a problem in their
HTML code, it's a problem in the browser.

 

Cheap Photo box that will get the job done

WEll i took on this project for PP hes a hardware reviewer and wants to get the professional looking pics for the Pc parts

Materials:

• Big cardboard box

• a razor

• white material 3 yards

• cone lights

• stapler

• medical tape

• pvc pipe about 6 inches longer than your box

• white paint any cheap finger paint would work

the project I'm guessing will cost me $30 if it works out properly
I will post pictures and step by step as i do it
