Windows 10: Find file of 'Unspecified' length using search options and not column filter

I want to be able to find all files with an error. These files have an unspecified length in the properties and the bitrate is also unspecified. I can find these files if I make either column visible and then use the filter in the column heading and choose 'Unspecified'. I do not wish to do this. I'm looking to be able to find the files using search parameters similar to to this: flac, length:<1 This parameter will find flac type files with a length less than 1 however it will not find those that are unspecified/blank/null whatever they technically are in the system. I've tried null, Unspec

File Explorer in list view shows wide columns when using filter "name:"

In File Explorer with a list view and a search filter of name:xxx the columns displayed are like 80 characters wide for files that match "xxx" pattern. This just started after the update in October 2016.

How can I get the file list column width back down to something reasonable?

I see the behavior you're describing.

You can right-click -> Arrange by -> Type and then click on your desired type to see a filtered list, then use the Search box to refine those results.

You can probably obtain the same results as the column filters with Search, but it's not as easy. And you shouldn't have to. The column filters should work.
