    "Find on page" keeps popping up and stealing the keystrokes.


    I am using a Asus laptop. Whenever I open any of the software in my laptop "find in page" Keeps popping up even though I have not pressed ctrl+f or f3. It will be working fine until I type anything like if I want to search something on Microsoft Edge, after I type few letters the cursor keeps moving to "find on page" and it's very annoying. Please help me regarding this I can't use my laptop at all.

    Sounds like a Ctrl- key may be misfiring. E.g. Ctrl-f would cause your symptom.

    Last week or two, I'd click on a website (like Facebook), to make a comment, and I'd start typing, and nothing would appear. I finally noticed that the search on page box had opened and was stealing the keystrokes.

    I use IE11 on Win10, current updates.

    My wife has noticed this on Edge, on her computer.

    Did a recent WU change something?

    Incredibly annoying.

    Having this problem with Win 10 Pro and Edge. Also seen the problem in Chrome. It has to be a Windows OS issue..... My wife is ready to toss her computer out the window - it is beyond frustrating.

    Please let us disable this pop-up dialog!!
