Windows 10: Finding Activation Key?

Hi Microsoft Forums,


As part of the process to upgrade my work computer Microsoft Surface Pro 7, I was asked to do a factory reset. After completing the factory reset my computer is saying that I need to activate Windows with the product key. However, I don't have access to my product key anymore.


I do have the receipt that provides verification I've purchased the product key in the past, but the receipt email doesn't have the product key included. Is there anyway to get a copy of my product key back so I don't have to purchase another copy of Windows 10 Pro?

It really doesn't matter. What happens when you try to activate Windows 10 with any/all of the Windows 8.1 product keys?

The original 8.1 Pro licenses were all purchased, not OEM installed. I have all of the original cards with the License Keys, but I don't know which one needs to be used on this particular machine. What the steps in the earlier messages were trying to do was to find out which particular 8.1 license keys were used on my other Activated systems.
