Windows 10: Finding activation key

I am trying to find the activation key for a preinstalled Windows 10 on my laptop and have tried using Showkey but am getting a warning not to run this app. So how do we find the key now that Showkey is not going to run?

It really doesn't matter. What happens when you try to activate Windows 10 with any/all of the Windows 8.1 product keys?

The original 8.1 Pro licenses were all purchased, not OEM installed. I have all of the original cards with the License Keys, but I don't know which one needs to be used on this particular machine. What the steps in the earlier messages were trying to do was to find out which particular 8.1 license keys were used on my other Activated systems.
