Windows 10: Finding Bitlocker recovery code

Discus and support Finding Bitlocker recovery code in AntiVirus, Firewalls and System Security to solve the problem; I have an HP EliteBook 840 G2, Windows 10 home.     Finding Bitlocker recovery code


    I have an HP EliteBook 840 G2, Windows 10 home. I want to update BIOS but I saw the warning about Bitlocker and that I should have a recovery code because BIOS has to turn off bitlocker to install. In my Microsoft Account it says "BitLocker ON" but I go to find the code and get this message from my Microsoft account: "You don't have any BitLocker recovery keys uploaded to your Microsoft account."


    I did run CMD as an admin and got the following with the -status command.


    FOLKS, THE BOTTOM LINE QUESTIONS ARE:


    - DO I HAVE BITLOCKER TURNED ON? BELOW, IT SHOWS NO CODES

    - HOW DO I GET THE UNLOCK CODE????

    1. Are you not able login to your computer due to BitLocker Recovery Key?
    2. Did you ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key on your computer?
    3. Are you not able to login to your Microsoft Account to find the BitLocker Recovery Key?
    4. Are you using Windows 10 Home or Windows 10 Professional?

    Meanwhile, try finding BitLocker Recovery Key if you have ever setup BitLocker Recovery Key for your computer.

    Please elaborate on the issue, so that we can understand the concern and get back to us to help you further.
