Finding the cause of disconnects event log interpretation

Hi guys, lately I have had occasional short disconnects. The event log of my Router shows no downtime, so I assume that it's related to my computer.I checked in the even viewer under Application and Service Logs > Microsoft > UniversalTelemetryClient > Operational and identified the corresponding events:andThe issue was resolved in less than a secondbut these disconnects kick me out of other services that require a constant connection.I am now trying to find the root cause. Whether it's a hardware or software error.Sadly, I am not sure how to identify the root cause from the logs. Can y

  2. Display Turn Off in Power Options Causing USB Disconnection

Hello everyone, I'm encountering a peculiar issue related to the Power Options settings on my Windows machine (Version 22H2). Whenever Windows automatically turns off my display, it seems to inadvertently cause the devices connected to my USB hub to disconnect. Here's a more detailed description of the problem:
    1. Display Turn Off Issue: After Windows turns off the display, my USB-connected devices disconnect.
    2. Wake-Up Login Requirement: When I wake up the monitor with a mouse movement, I'm prompted to log back into Windows, as if the system had entered seep mode or logged off.
    Steps I've Taken So Far:
    • Set Power Options to never enter sleep mode.
    • Disabled hibernation and USB selective suspend.
    • Restored default power settings using "powercfg -restoredefaultschemes".
    • Imported power options from "Default_Power_Plans.zip" found on this forum.
    • Analyzed settings with PowerSettingExplorer, but nothing unusual was noted.
    • Checked the event log and Sleep Study report ("pwrcfg -systemsleepdiagnostics") for any signs of the machine being put to sleep, but found none.
Interestingly, this problem does not occur when I manually turn off the monitor. It only happens when Windows does it automatically. Also, this issue is not isolated to one machine; it's happening on several, which leads me to believe it's not a hardware issue. I'm looking for any suggestions on how to further diagnose and resolve this issue. Your input would be greatly appreciated!

  3. Many Wi-Fi Disconnects/Reconnects Happening. Need To Monitor/Log Them.

Thank you, Denis. I unzipped your file and looked at it in the Edge Browser. Over the years, I have looked in the Event Viewer when I had an unexpected shutdown, etc, to see if I could find what caused the problem but understanding the Event Viewer is above my pay grade. lol. So is interpreting the logs in a Router. I will search the Internet to see if a stand-alone program will log the disconnects/reconnects, as it is just pure luck to be looking at the System tray Icon, at the exact time a disconnect/reconnect happens. - - - Updated - - -
I signed into the Orbi & found where the logs are displayed. As I had done a Factory Reset, the timestamps on the logs were from the reset. Understanding those logs is beyond my knowledge. Thank you for your help.

  4. Finding the cause of disconnects event log interpretation

    Network Connection Event Logs

I'm running Windows 10 Pro on a desktop with an ethernet cable (not wi-fi) for connection to the internet. I would like to open some event log somewhere, then disconnect/reconnect my ethernet cable (causing a disconnection/reconnection to the internet)
and see this event show up in that log (after a refresh, of course). But where can I see this? I am familiar with Windows 10 Event Viewer and have experimented with many different logs in many different categories to no avail. Surely Windows must log this
event somewhere. I can't find anyone else who has asked this question and gotten a definitive answer.
