Discus and support finger print recognition stopped working, what can i do to make it work again? in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; it worked fine until it didn't.     finger print recognition stopped working, what can i do to make it work again?


    it worked fine until it didn't. I didn't mess with any settings or install any updates, yet I am met with a text that says "We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Windows Hello fingerprint" although I was just using it less than 24 hours ago. I really liked this function and would hate to lose it, what can I do?I checked the "Device Manager" and found the device status "This device cannot start. Code 10" under the biometric devices section.

    Face recognition and finger print stop on all users when enroll in Domain.

    Finger print recognition

    Finger print recognition has stopped working after loading latest Windows 10 update on my HP Envy laptop. It is now asking for a password at the 'hello' screen. Has anyone else experienced this and how to correct? I have tried to remove the update but still
    at start up I have this problem. Getting so frustrating now. Wish I hadn't loaded the update!!
